RIPLEY, West Virginia -
The Ripley Rotary is finishing up the final stages of the Adopt a Family program.
The program provides gifts and in some cases food for families in need.
Volunteers should be contacting most of the families in the days ahead to let them know when their items will be delivered. Organizers say anyone who has not been contacted should pick up their items between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the WVU Parkersburg center. Distribution will be this Friday December 21.
Food will be distributed that afternoon as well. Anyone who has signed up for a food basket and been approved can pick it up at the food pantry near Kroger.
