Oglebay Park's Winter Festival of Lights has been delighting visitors of all ages since 1985 and continues at the Wheeling Resort through Jan. 6, 2013. This internationally acclaimed holiday light show is one of the nation's largest, covering more than 300 acres with 75 displays over a 6-mile drive throughout the resort.

Oglebay becomes a four-season spectacle with 150 hanging baskets of light, plus thousands of lighted flowers and 30 live trees known as The Gardens of Light.

The Good Zoo at Oglebay features a light and music extravaganza nightly on the zoo patio, with more than 35,000 lights choreographed to exciting holiday music. The Winter Festival of Lights is viewable Sunday through Thursday until 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. Trolley tours are offered several times each night beginning at Wilson Lodge.
