The Boyd County Sheriff's Department announces a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two males who broke into Mary Thacker's home assaulting and robbing her.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sheriff Keelin at 606-739-5135.
An elderly woman was injured in a home invasion. Catlettsburg police responded to the home on Durbin Road just before 8 p.m. on Dec. 17.
The 88-year-old woman told police that two men knocked on her door and when she opened it they hit her, knocking her down.
Deputies say the suspects stole the woman's wallet. She was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
