Task force aims to be proactive in the fight against drugs

ST. ALBANS, West Virginia -

The City of St. Albans is taking action to stop drug abuse among school children in their community. They formed the Drug Prevention Task Force as a way to involve both adult and children in finding a solution.

The group offers many tools both for reporting drug activity and finding help to fight addiction.

To report illegal or suspicious drug activity, the group asks residents to call 304-348-8111.

To talk to someone about a drug problem any time of day, residents can call 304-201-1111.

For treatment options residents can call 304-341-0251.

The St. Albans Drug Prevention Task Force meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall.
