HUNTINGTON -

Mark Morgan, HIMG's chief administrative and financial officer, has been selected to serve as president of the board of directors of the West Virginia Medical Group Management Association.

The West Virginia MGMA is an affiliate of the national Medical Group Management Association, the largest group of medical group managers in the nation. On both the national and state levels, the association works to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical group practices in West Virginia and the nation. In addition, the group provides resources and training opportunities to its members.

Morgan, a certified public accountant, has been with HIMG since 2006. He has oversight and responsibility for many departments and functions of the organization.
