CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

A winning lottery ticket has been sold at a Harts, WV gas station worth $1 million.

The ticket matches the five numbers from Wednesday nights powerball drawing. So far, no winners have come forward to claim the ticket.

It was purchased at the Little General Store in Harts.

The winning ticket would have been worth $2 million if the purchaser had only paid a dollar more, said Randy Burnside with the West Virginia Lottery.

This is the 6th winning ticket sold this year worth $1 million, a new record for West Virginia.
