CHAPMANVILLE, West Virginia -

There were some tense moments Thursday morning at Chapmanville Regional High School. The school briefly went on lock down. Logan County School Superintendent Wilma Zigmond said there was a threat made by one student against another student.

Zigmond said all schools are on heightened alert following the Newtown shootings. The superintendent wants all students and parents to be aware of the heightened security.

The lock down ended very quickly and the day returned to normal without incident Thursday morning.
