Future Huntington mayor holds transition meeting - WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

Future Huntington mayor Steve Williams met with city leaders to discuss transitioning into his new position.

Several different groups of city leaders along with transition team members discussed issues that are important to the public.

Some areas of discussion included police and fire department personnel additions and issues in the public works department.

Williams said he thinks the meeting was successful in talking about important issues that he will address as mayor.

Williams will be sworn in as mayor on January third.
