Police arrested a suspect wanted in the robbery of a gaming parlor earlier this week.

James Maynard of Huntington was arrested in connection with the robbery of RVA 119 gaming parlor along the 800 block of Adams Ave, in Huntington.

Maynard  is accused of entering the business and brandishing a knife while demanding money. Maynard then cut the phone lines as the employee attempted to call 911.

Maynard then fled the parlor with an undetermined amount of money.

Maynard has been charged with the two counts of first degree robbery and petit larceny.  Maynard is being held in the Western Regional jail on a $105,000 bond.
