NEW HAVEN, WV (AP) — Felman Production LLC plans to temporarily idle one of three electric arc furnaces at its ferroalloys plant in New Haven and lay off union workers.
The Great Outdoors Marine in Lavalette recently was selected
as one of the Boating Industry's Top 100 Boat Dealers.
The organization behind Marine Five Star Dealer
Certification also awarded The Great Outdoors Marine first place in Marine
Industry Best Practices among North American Boat Dealers.
According to the news release, Best Practices are a part of
the dealer certification process that recognizes thoughtful and cost-effective
ways to do business while maintaining quality and eliminating variability.
The Top 100 award, meanwhile, recognizes boat dealers who
are unsurpassed in overall business operations, facilities, customer service,
marketing and professionalism.
The Lavalette marine was selected from more than 8,000
dealers in North America for this award.
The Great Outdoors Marine –which serves West
Virginia, southern Ohio
and eastern Kentucky – has been
in business since 1991 and now has 16 employees.
It is the largest marine
dealer in West Virginia and it
specializes in pontoon and fishing boat sales and service on boats and motors.
