Last minute shoppers packed into malls across our area this weekend.
Procrastinators of all ages were at the Charleston Town Center Mall looking for bargains and checking the last few items off of their list. Some people said they wait until the last minute on purpose. James Cook said it helps him to keep his wife's gift a secret.
"I kind of wait until the end because she checks the bank account and stuff," Cook explained.
The mall was scheduled to be open until midnight Sunday.
On Christmas Eve stores are scheduled to be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
