The Kentucky State Police are investigating sexual abuse of a female juvenile that took place over a ten year period in Boyd County, KY.
State police arrested Clyde A. Diamond, 47, of Burnaugh, KY after a report of abuse of a 12-year-old girl.
The Kentucky State Police Post 14 in Ashland received a report of sexual abuse from a 17-year-old female, currently living in Newington Connecticut. The juvenile reported she was sexually abused at a residence on Linda Circle in Boyd County over the course of nine years, between 1998 and 2007. The Diamond's were family friends of the victim's mother and were babysitting when the abuse occurred.
In an interview on December 20, 2012, Clyde A. Diamond revealed that sexual contact (touching in a sexual manner) had occurred between he and the female juvenile.
Diamond was taken to Boyd County Detention Center and charged with four counts of sexual abuse in the 1st degree with a victim under 12 years of age.
