A collision on Route 2 sent two passengers to the hospital on Christmas Day.
Jerry Lee Lewis and his wife, Julie Lewis, were turning off Mud Run Road in Apple Grove just after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The ATV crashed into the passenger side of the vehicle.
Mud Run Road is located north of Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam.
Jerry was transported to Pleasant Valley Hospital with shoulder injuries, and Julie was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital with head injuries, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Department.
"I say it was a pretty bad accident to be involved with," said JR Hughes, who witnessed the accident. "Just tells me you never know what's going to happen."
