It started on Thursday afternoon during a thunderstorm in Alum Creek.

Crews were on-scene to clean up a wreck on I-64 eastbound near the Institute Exit. Dispatchers say the slow and middle lane were shut down.

Police are directing all traffic to the fast lane.

According to Kanawha County Metro, furniture fell off a truck just before 3:15 p.m. Several cars swerved to avoid the lost cargo.

No word on injuries.
