Daniel McGowan, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Pioneer West Virginia Federal Credit Union in Charleston, was selected the Credit Union Executive Society's "Exceptional Leader" award winner for 2012.
McGowan was honored at a November gathering at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach in Manalapan, Fla. The Exceptional Leader award acknowledges decision-makers for their ambition, participation and devotion to their credit union and the movement.
Pioneer West Virginia Federal Credit Union has recognized for making exceptional strides in member service, technology and product offerings.
McGowan has worked alongside the Pioneer team to achieve successes, including helping the credit union earn the National Association of Federal Credit Unions' recognition as "Credit Union of the Year" in 2012.
