HUNTINGTON -

Sarah Massey recently joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Huntington office as an associate.

Massey practices in the areas of appeals, healthcare litigation, class actions and mass torts, and product liability litigation.

She previously worked for Nelson Mullins as a summer associate in 2011. She also interned for Justice Margaret L. Workman at the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and took part in West Virginia's Governor Internship Program. 

She completed externships for Judge Phillip D. Gaujot in the West Virginia Circuit Court and for Judge Joseph R. Goodwin, chief judge of the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of West Virginia. 

Massey also is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and of DRI — The Voice of the Defense Bar.

Massey earned her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in English, summa cum laude, as an honors scholar from West Virginia University in 2009.
