Four new police officers will soon be joining the Huntington Police Department.
The four new probationary officers, Brennan Simpkins, of Huntington, Nicholas Wyrick, of Huntington, Shane Wilburn, of Salt Rock and Adam Ankrom, of Huntington are the four new HPD officers.
The four will complete a 16-week basic training session at the West Virginia State Police Academy before returning to Huntington.
The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday in City Council Chambers.
