A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's what the 14-year-old who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt could face, following his arraignment today.
A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
Huntington police are investigating reports of a man being stabbed after a breaking and entering incident in the 23 block of Adams Avenue.
An Ohio woman reported that just after 11pm she saw a man punching cars in the parking lot. She said the man kicked out a window in one vehicle in addition to kicking and punching the sides of other vehicles in the lot causing damage.
She also reported the man got into one of the vehicles and threw several things out of it.
The suspect was named in connection with a previous report. After meeting with officers, he stated that he and a friend were walking out of a bar in the area when a man followed him out accusing him of damaging his car.
He said the man punched him and stabbed him with a knife.Cabell County ems responded to the scene and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Both incidents remain under investigation and no one has been charged in either case.
