HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -
Two men are being sought by police in connection with a shooting that left one man dead.
The shooting happened Wednesday night at 8:45 at the Forest Bluff Apartments on Beech Drive in Huntington.
West Virginia State Police have issued murder warrants for two men: Terry Morton (aka "Boots"), of Detroit, and Tyerus Hayes (aka "Tank"), of Georgia.
Originally, police were looking for three men that were involved in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old, Christopher Carter.
Police did arrest Jonathan Robert Yeager of Barboursville on drug charges.
Police tell us they were able to make that arrest based on information they gathered on Wednesday night, but Yeager is not charged with murder.
Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for the two cars that the two murder suspects might be driving: a silver 2001 Chevy Impala with a black cover on the front, and a light colored 90s-model Mercury Grand Marquis.
If you think you know the whereabouts of "Boots" and "Tank," or have seen the cars, call police immediately.
