Huntington's new mayor and city council members were sworn in tonight at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center.
Hundreds of friends, family, and dignitaries filled the seats in support of the new officials.
The ceremony was filled with songs and prayers.
Williams' speech touched on several topics including crime, fire protection, and helping the city move forward in the business community.
Williams recognized former mayors in the audience and thanked everyone for their support in winning the election.
A bluegrass band played in the balcony following the ceremony as guests were treated to light refreshments.
