A man accused of shooting his girlfriend's step-father on Christmas Day has turned himself in to police.

Mack Brumfield turned himself in to the Logan County Sheriff's Dept. around 4:10 p.m. on Jan. 4.

He was arraigned at 4:30 p.m. and charged with malicious wounding and domestic battery.

Brumfield is being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail.

According to witnesses, Brumfield and his girlfriend were in a fight when the woman's step-father tried to intervene.
