LOGAN, West Virginia -

The holiday season is over. But crews are still working to take down the light display in Chief Logan State Park. This weekend parts of the popular light display were vandalized.

Organizers of Christmas in the Park say about 15 displays were already discovered damaged. They believe there may be more. A Christmas tree in front of the pool area sustained the most damage. A large Santa Claus display was also destroyed.

The process of taking down the displays began last week and should be completed in the coming days.

If anyone has any information as to who may have been involved in the incident they are asked to report the information to the authorities.

Christmas in the Park is a free service to the public. Volunteers help put the event together and donations cover the cost.
