Huntington police are searching for a suspect in a home invasion. The call came in a little before 7p.m. from a house at 347 8th Avenue in Guyandotte.

The woman at the house said that a man burst through her door with pistol. Angela Ferguson said that the suspect put the gun in her face and demanded money.

Ferguson said she threw some money at him and he took off on foot.

"I'm lucky to be alive. If my son hadn't walked in when he did, I think he would have shot me," said Angela Ferguson.

Ferguson described the suspect as a white man, 5'5" and weighing about 140lbs. He had short, black hair according to the homeowner and he was wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. Ferguson said he also had a dark blue bandana covering the lower part of his face.
