Scioto County Sheriff's Office, along with the FBI-Portsmouth office, is investigating a robbery that happened at the U.S. Bank in Minford just before 11:15 Wednesday morning.

The suspect approached the bank on foot and demanded money. He stole one of the bank teller's vehicles and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The vehicle taken was a white Ford F-150 with "Ford" across the windshield and a pink breast cancer sticker in the back window. It was last seen going south on East street in Minford.

The suspect was described as a smaller white male wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a dark colored sweatshirt with what appeared to be a ski mask covering his face.

Detectives are requesting anyone who comes accross the suspect or vehicle to contact the Sheriff's Office or local FBI office and not to approach the vehicle.

When the Sheriff's Office notified the nearby Minford School, administrators initiated a precautionary lockdown.
