A Kanawha County man pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of child pornography, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Tracey Cooper, 38 of Kanawha County, admitted to possessing more than 600 images and videos of child pornography in 2011.
He also said he used peer-to-peer file sharing programs, like Shareaza and Aires, to download and share the images, authorities said.
Cooper faces up to 10 years in prison. He will be sentenced in March.
