Kanawha County deputies make second arrest in home invasion case

Posted: Updated:

Kanawha County deputies arrested a man Wednesday night they believe was involved in an armed robbery.

Warrants had been issued earlier in the day for Cody Alexander Hudson, 18, of St. Albans, on charges of first degree robbery, wanton endangerment and burglary. He's now in custody.

Investigators believe that Hudson and a second suspect, Nick Hanson, broke into a house and were looking for items to steal from the victims.

As the two suspects left the house, three shots were fired back at the house, according to deputies. They said one of the shots went through the bedroom that the victims were still in, including an infant.

Deputies arrested Hanson on Monday. He's charged with first degree robbery, wanton endangerment and burglary.
