Four people have been arrested in the South Point, Ohio for trafficking in drugs.
Investigations conducted by the Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes task Force ended with secret indictments from the December Grand Jury session.
Arrested on Wednesday, January 9 are Holly Ployer, 32 and Stephanie Tucker, 35, both of Township Road. Ployer faces two counts of trafficking drugs. Tucker faces one count of trafficking drugs.
Arrested on Thursday, January 10 are Daniel Jones, 27, and Rachael Jones, 28, both currently residing at the Grandview Inn. During the arrest two weapons were recovered with one a stolen handgun reported stolen from Huntington in 2005.
In addition, 83 oxycodone pills (30 milligram) were recovered at the time of the arrest. These pills would have the street value of about $25,000.
Both will appear before the Judges of the Lawrence County Common Pleas Court for arraignment.
