A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
Charges are being filed against the driver of a school bus that collided with a car earlier this year.
The driver of a Wayne County school bus was traveling on Piedmont Road in Huntington when a vehicle traveling the opposite direction begin drifting into his lane.
The driver stopped the bus, but the car continued until it rolled into the front of the school bus. Only the driver and one child were on the bus at the time of the accident.
Reports from the Huntington Police Department say the driver of the passenger car appeared to be under the influence. A spray can of an unknown substance was found on the seat next to the driver.
Charges are pending and she has been taken to the Western Regional Jail.
The school bus was coming from Vinson Middle School.
