With weather expected to feel downright springlike this weekend, it might make a perfect time to go down to the Hatfield-McCoy Geo Trail to experience a little geo-caching. The Chambers of Commerce in Williamson and Pikeville, Ky. created the geocaching trail after the History Channel movie about the Hatfields and McCoys. The trail enables geocachers and those who are just plain curious to retrace the footsteps of these famous mountain families.

Looking ahead to next weekend, Falls Resort State Park in Wyoming County will host its annual Lore and Tracking Weekend on Jan. 18 to 20. During the weekend, experienced instructors will teach people how to track animals based on the signs they leave behind.
