The search is on for a suspect in the beating of a 24-year-old Marshall medical student, as she was walking near the Erma Ora Byrd Clinical Center.
The woman was walking on 15th Street near Cabell-Huntington Hospital on Wednesday night when she was attacked from behind.
She suffered a concussion and a broken nose, and had her cell phone stolen.
Several neighbors tell 13 News they did not think much of the screams they heard, assuming they were the sounds of neighborhood children at play.
Therefore, suspect information is limited.
