A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
Huntington police arrest a man after finding him asleep in someone else's home.
The homeowner told police that she heard someone break out a basement window in the 600 block of John Marshall Drive. The victim told police she heard footsteps coming upstairs. The suspect began to bang on the victim's door and when she asked who it was the suspect advised that it was "Abe" and that he was going to bed. When the victim no longer heard the suspect she left the residence and called 9-1-1.
Officers entered the residence and found the suspect asleep in a back bedroom. Ibrahim M. Koroma was taken into custody without incident. He is charged with burglary and faces 1 to 15 years in prison.
