The damage from the natural gas pipeline explosion in Sissonville continues to cause problems.

The blast caused by a Columbia Gas pipeline failure on December 11, 2012, destroyed four homes and scorched parts of interstate 77.

Columbia gas representatives dropped off a $200,000 check on Monday to Kanawha County commissioners to help pay for the expenses incurred during the disaster.

While only four homes were destroyed, countless others were badly damaged by fire, smoke and debris.
