A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A Huntington firefighter was placed on administrative leave after he was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
Shane Patrick Masters, 42, a 10 year veteran of Huntington Fire Department was incarcerated at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville on January 14.
He is being held on a $5,000 dollar bond.
According to a Huntington Police Department report, officers were called to the 400 block of Devon Road in Westmoreland. The report says several calls were set to 9-1-1 following several hit-and-run incidents involving at least two vehicles and a fence.
Police say Masters had a blood alcohol level of more than .150 and 91 pieces of 2mg Xanax in his possession. Masters faces three misdemeanors charges including aggravated DUI, possession of a controlled substance and destruction/injury to property.
