LOGAN, West Virginia -

A summer program for kids in the Logan County area is taking applications for people to help this summer. Energy Express starts in June and continues through the beginning of August.

The goal of the program is to help children remember what they learned in school during the previous year, while they are on summer vacation. It also encourages them to stay active and eat healthy.

Over 100 kids are set to participate in Logan County. Activities will take place at schools in Chapmanville, Man and Logan.

There are several openings for mentors and community coordinators. For an application and job requirements call 304-792-8690.
