Lance Armstrong finally admitted he used performance enhancing drugs on Thursday night in an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Believe it or not, in his early racing years, Armstrong earned some of his first career victories in West Virginia.

Armstrong won the 1993 K-Mart West Virginia Classic that finished up in Charleston.

The race ran through the entire state, and finished up on the Kanawha Boulevard, right in front of the Capital Building.

He won that race again in 1995 and 1996.
