As many as one in five American children under the age of 17 has a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year, according to a new federal report.
The former director of finance and administration for the city of Huntington has died.
Conrad "Jack" Thornburgh of Huntington died January 17. He was 77 years old.
Former Mayor David Felinton chose Thornburgh to become the director of finance and administration in 2000 after Thornburgh managed Felinton's campaign during the election.
Thornburgh retired as Director of Administration and Finance in 2007 due to health reasons.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on January 22 at Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on January 21 at the funeral home.
