A domestic call leads Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies on a high speed chase for the suspect.
The chase began just after midnight when a domestic dispute call came in from an apartment complex along County Road One in South Point Ohio.
The suspect led police through part of Lawrence County, Ohio, ending with the driver being ejected.
Deputies say the suspect is Jacob Ball 25, of South Point. He reportedly left the scene before deputies arrived and then was spotted driving along U.S. 52 near the 18 mile marker. Deputies tried to stop the car, but he fled away.
When the pursuit approached the intersection of U.S. 52 and Charley Creek Road, Ball tried to cut through the median to avoid several vehicles at the intersection. Instead he flipped his car and was ejected.
Ball was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital for his injuries.
Ball is being charged with assault, aggravated trespassing, auto larceny, disturbing public service and failure to comply with a police officer. Other charges are pending.
