Driver flees crash scene after crash knocks down utility pole in Charleston
A Kanawha County man pleaded guilty in federal court to being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Randall Jim Hughes, 28, was originally arrested after a traffic stop in 2012.
Authorities said during the traffic stop they found a .38 caliber revolver.
In 2006, Hughes was convicted of possession of a firearm having an obliterated serial number.
He was also convicted of unlawful wounding in 2006.
Hughes faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced on April 17.
The investigation handled the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
