CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

A Lincoln County felon is heading to federal jail for holding a shotgun at a relatives home in Akrol, WV. 

George Wayne Taylor, 56, admitted that he not only held the shotgun, but also stole metal roofing "at the time he possessed the firearm," according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin. 

Police found not only the stolen metal roofing, but also four stolen firearms from Taylor's home. 

A just sentenced him Wednesday to three years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release.
