The Rev. Timothy M. "Tim" Farabaugh is the new CEO for GlenWood Park Retirement Village. His tenure began Jan. 2.
He most recently was employed as the chief operating officer with Vinson Hall, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located in McLean, Va.
He has also served as the executive director of The Hermitage in Alexandria, Va., which is owned by Virginia United Methodist Homes Inc.; Life Care Services communities in Norfolk and Portsmouth, Va.; and other care facilities in Portsmouth, Norfolk and Williamsburg, Va.
With his employment at GlenWood, Farabaugh resumes his United Methodist connection. Glen Wood was established in 1968 by the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Before he began his career in long-term care, Farabaugh was associate pastor or pastor at churches in Houston, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
He earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, and a master of divinity and master's in Christian education from Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
