West Virginia State Police confirmed that 21-year-old Austin Marcum, a driver, died at the scene.

The WV Public Service Commission has ordered all electric utility companies operating in WV to file a petition to propose a comprehensive vegetation trimming program.
According to a release sent to 13 News, petitions need to be submitted to the Commission within six months.
The PSC will also require that all proposals must cover all distribution and transmission. Companies will also have to coordinated with other companies that use the utility poles.
The order also requires companies to propose a rate recovery of the increased costs.
The order closes a general investigation launched by the Commission for the purpose of looking into utility responses and practices following the derecho summer storm that left thousands without power.
