HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -
The suspect in a Huntington gas station robbery is in jail, one month to the day after the crime.
David Dean Buzzard was arrested and arraigned today on one count of armed robbery.
Buzzard is accused of robbing the Marathon on Fifth Avenue and Eighth Street on Christmas Eve morning and then leading police on a chase into Wayne County before ditching his car behind an apartment complex and taking off.
US Marshals believe Buzzard bounced around eastern Kentucky and then recently returned to Huntington, where he was arrested this morning.
Buzzard is being held on one count of armed robbery, and has not made bond.
His girlfriend, Heather Ratliff, was also arrested today.
She is wanted in Lawrence County, Ohio on drug trafficking charges, and will be extradited to face the charges.
