Tory Morgan turned herself to the Roane County Sheriff's Department on Friday evening.
She was set to be arraigned on 36 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty, twenty for the horses seized from her farm in Reedy, and sixteen for the horse found dead.
Morgan is currently being held in the Central Regional Jail with bail set at $90,000.

Charges have been filed against a woman accused of abusing dozens of animals in Roane County, West Virginia.
A judge has issued a warrant for Tory Morgan on 36 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty, twenty for the horses seized from her farm in Reedy, and sixteen for the horse found dead.
Morgan has not been arrested.
The surviving horses are in the care of the state veterinarian.
