Lawrence County Board of Commission has agreed to set aside $100,000 dollars to expand sewer service.
The plan will supply service to a planned 40 unit, $8.5 million senior housing project in Rome Township.
The board will set aside federal community development block grant funds toward the project along County Road 107 adjacent to Fairland East Elementary School and the Rome Family Medical Center building.
The project calls for single family one and two bedroom housing units.
