Using your credit card will become a little more expensive starting on Sunday.

In a settlement agreement between credit card companies Master Card and Visa, nine major banks and retailers, credit card companies will be able to charge as much as four percent everytime they are used at retailers.

This does not include debit cards.

Retailers who are charging this fee are required to post warnings to customers that they will be charged a fee.
