Things were busy at the Lawrence County, Ohio garage Friday as salt trucks hit the roads.
The county has 12 salt trucks including a grader out keeping the roads clear from snow and ice.
Engineers just installed a new GPS program in all vehicles this week.
The program tracks each truck on a county map and even shows how fast they are going.
Engineers say it helps things go more effectively.
"That way we can track and know where they're at if they're having problems if they're not in radio communication we know where they're at and if they're having issue out on the road and also what areas we've already treated." county engineer Doug Cade said.
Cade says he hopes to have the new program available online soon so folks can follow the progress and report issues.
