With brutally cold temperatures hitting this week there is no better time to get some free clothing.
The Herd4Christ organization held a clothing giveaway Saturday at the 26th Street Church of Christ. Clothing for women, men and children were available as well as coats and shoes. All of the items were donated from the community. The group says it's important to not forget about the needs of low income families throughout the year.
Cinda Newlon a Herd4Christ member says, "I feel it's really important for people because they need to be able to know that they have people who can help them at this time whenever it's really cold and they need a little extra to help them out through this tough time."
The group is always looking for help. You can drop off donations at the 26th Street Church of Christ located at 101 26th Street in Huntington.
