If you've got a kid wanting to be the next Mary Lou Retton there's a new center to help you train.
AMP Gymnastics Center held its grand opening with an open house Saturday at its new 20,000 square foot facility in Huntington.
The former warehouse for Steel of West Virginia has been converted into a state of the art gymnastics center offering classes in gymnastics, tumbling, cheer and dance for girls and boys aged toddler to teenager.
David Tarter, a co-owner, says, ""We wanted to create a safe environment, a clean environment and give a lot of the children in our community just a great place to come during the week. We have both competitive gymnastics teams, cheerleading teams and dance teams that we're starting and we also have just for fun."
The new center is located at 215 Hal Greer Blvd in Huntington.
