A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - The U.S. Postal Service has moved up by one year the scheduled closing of a mail processing center in Martinsburg.
The Journal (http://bit.ly/WnPwJq) reports that the closure scheduled for 2014 will now occur no later than late summer of this year. The Martinsburg operation will be consolidated with a processing center in Baltimore, saving $1.4 million annually.
The Martinsburg center was to close last year, but it was pushed back to 2014 after members of the state's congressional delegation intervened.
The Postal Service said the economy move reflects the decline in mail at the processing center.
It is not clear if the 13 workers at the processing center will lose their jobs or be transferred.
