Driver flees crash scene after crash knocks down utility pole in Charleston
Leo McQuabbie called 911 after police say his girlfriend of two years, Patricia Wilson, 49, got drunk and stabbed him in the back with a butcher knife at a home on High Street in St. Albans.
When police arrived, McQuabbie was standing outside holding a towel to try and stop the blood from his wound. Officers went inside the home and found the knife in the kitchen sink and Wilson lying on the ground in one of the bedrooms.
According to McQuabbie, the two had gotten into an argument, and she stabbed him. He was taken to Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Wilson was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
